1. Deposit
A £50 per week per caravan non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking for 7 night stays. This is payable within one week of the reservation, otherwise the caravan/s will be re-advertised.
For 3 or 4 night breaks, full payment is required within one week of reservation. We cannot be held responsible for items lost in the post.
2. Balance Due
The balance is due 6 weeks before commencement of the holiday. If this is not received by the due date we reserve the right to cancel your booking. Any booking commencing in less than 8 weeks time, full payment will be required at the time of booking.
Cheques will not be accepted for any holiday commencing less than 3 weeks from the booking date.
3. Letting Arrangements
Arrival time from 12.30 pm at Rose View, from 1.30 pm at Cedar Vale, from 2 pm at Lakehill and from 2.30 pm at High Elms for the commencement of your holiday. Keys will be available from Haven reception upon arrival and must be returned by 10.00 am on the day of your departure.
We will send you a bill if you fail to hand the keys back to Reception on your departure, unless other arrangements have been made.
4. Accommodation
Only people listed on the booking forms may use the caravans. This is a maximum of 6 people in Rose View & Cedar Vale and 8 people in Lakehill & High Elms. Breaking this rule may result in immediate loss of holiday with no refund.
NO all male or all female groups are allowed.
The hirer must be over 25 years of age at Rose View, Lakehill & Cedar Vale and over 21 years old at High Elms. The hirer must be present during the occupancy of the caravan booked.
If any member of your party causes any damage or there are any breakages to furniture, fittings, inventory or the accommodation, please inform the owner before the end of your stay. We will arrange a replacement and send you the bill. The hirer is responsible for all party members. Photographic evidence will be taken of any damage not reported.
For the comfort of other guests all of the caravans are NON SMOKING and we do NOT allow any pets.
We ask that you remove any dirty footwear when entering the caravans. Please do not iron on the beds or other furniture, an ironing board is provided in each caravan.
For Saturday to Saturday bookings, all bedding is provided and beds are made up prior to your arrival . This does not include the sofa bed in the lounge, however bedding is provided for this. For bookings that do not run Saturday to Saturday (in most cases), duvets and pillows are provided but other bedding is not.
A travel cot may be available upon request. You will need to bring your own cot bedding however.
5. Entertainment Passes
Funworks passes are not included in the holiday price but if you wish to take advantage of the entertainment and sports facilities on the site, we can either arrange them on your behalf at the time of booking, or you may purchase them directly in advance or from reception on arrival.
6. Behaviour
Please note that all Haven sites are for families and any unreasonable behaviour can result in your holiday coming to an abrupt end. If this happens, no refund is available.
PLEASE BEAR IN MIND THAT THESE ARE OUR PRIVATELY OWNED CARAVANS, WE WOULD THEREFORE BE GRATEFUL IF YOU COULD LEAVE THE CARAVANS IN THE SAME CONDITION AS WHEN YOU ARRIVED.
7. Cancellation
Any cancellations must be made in writing. No refund is given unless the caravan can be re-let. The refund amount depends on how much the caravan is re-booked for, less an administration charge of £25.00. For this reason, we therefore recommend you take out insurance to cover you from any loss.
8. Liability
We do not accept liability for injury, loss or damage to you or any member of your party either inside or outside the caravans. We are not responsible for items left in the caravans after your departure. We strongly recommend that you take out personal holiday insurance to cover you against loss, damages etc.
